SONG DETAILS

Part of what will make us go

is Life is always to and ‘fro
and patience never ever knows
oh what to do with it

You dial it up and punch the sky
with famous words and alibis
but we’re all taught to do or die
and you know I won’t quit!

Try to make the jump of losers, me and you
Falling fast you know, for losers, me and you
Falling fast until we bounce

Holding hands and making plans
and wonderin’ if we ever can
to take the steps, in hope, will get us closer to the truth
But truth be told, we’re gettin’ old
and colder as we look for gold
with water, water everywhere
but no fountain of proof

Try to make the jump of losers, me and you
Falling fast you know, for losers, me and you
Falling fast until we bounce

Never mind the taker downs
the ones who never let us wear the crown
for soon our frown is upside down
with nothing to lose….

Try to make the jump of losers, me and you
Falling fast you know, for losers, me and you
Falling fast until we bounce
Falling fast, until we bounce, me and you
Falling fast, you know for losers……….. me and you.

Cool Geekout Notes

Early on in the writing of this song, I had all the lyrics done, but no title. So, I asked the fans to come up with names. Many came up with some really good ones but early on, one in particular stood out. So, I performed a quick and dirty version on a video blog so the Friends of Chance could listen in before the offering their suggestions. Check out this early version of Life & Life Only before the guitar parts were written, before bass and drums; heck, even before a bridge or ending…(or a title):
