So Flando came over and did hihats yesterday. On (almost,kinda,sorta) 5 songs. We ran out of time. His was late to hang with his g-friend. So, the last song I only got a quick take, and I don’t know how solid it was.
The rest of the songs were strong, and make me feel even more certain that doing these live hihats are going to make a huge difference.
Tonight: First rhythm section rehearsal with the new songs. Bob, Flanders and me, for a few hours.
