Ahh, visitors!
Almost finished with the 3rd mix and re-visiting mix 2 (I re-sang a part and need to drop it back in).
Bob was kind enough to drop in and bring me his percussion bag of love. I’m going to lay down a tangerine part to Song 3, and can’t put the mix to bed til I get this idea out of my head.
So, he is now among the privileged “in the know group”, having heard the first three mixes for the upcoming CD.
Jeff Cobb, the Texas wonderkin who directed the “Man on a Mission” video [watch video], came by to check out the new stuff, and discuss Independent [download] being used in his upcoming short film. Or heck, maybe even something else. Ate lunch and listened to tunes.
It was nice to break up the monotony and the ol’ loneliness of the mixing room.
Back to the grind later tonight. Re-singing some background parts on a song, and soon will be prepping the mix tracks for Song/Mix 4.
