Received some pretty amazing emails recently about the upcoming record. Sharing with permission…

Hello, friend. I just needed to take a moment to reach out to you and tell you how much I love your newest CD; the initial copy you burnt for us and gave us way back when when you were here, well, I have probably played almost daily, Chance. No shit. Really.

The songs have touched me and reached me in a very deep place and I feel such a connection to the lyrics. It’s inspiring, too. Not to mention that the production on this one is sick. Yes, it is. A-mazing. Good lord…

Now I know you’ve released a lot of stuff in the past, but in all honesty, I really didn’t listen to it much. Not to say some of those other songs weren’t great. And I know most artists evolve over time, finding their new sweet spot amidst their various experiences of life and such, both through pain and through joy. Living. There is just something verrrrry different about this collection of songs, man; there’s such a vulnerability, such a richness, an almost airy quality about them, and this album is really something special. Truly. I hope you can feel it. I even hear it in the delivery of the lyrics. So sincere. So fucking awesome. You’re in a really special place artistically. And maybe just in life in general. It’s beautiful, amidst all the heartache and pain that you also had to endure throughout the process. Thanks for sharing it all. THANKS. A million thanks.

Wishing you much success and, most of all, the inner pride of knowing that your music matters and your creativity is shining brighter than ever. You need to know. And I’m here to tell ya.

Love,
Joy
