Well, first a quick bit.
Saw Seb and Gus’ band last night and enjoyed the show! They are called Goldn and you can check ’em out at http://goldn.net/. Sort of a Morrisey, Cure-Cult sound in places.
This weekend
First thing I am going to do is record the alternate version of my latest release (scheduled for Tuesday), called Say What You Will. I have specific ideas in mind and am so looking forward to hashing them out.
Then I was supposed to hang out with MrKister and Hi-D on Sat, but that might be a no go.
Sunday, though I may be partaking in a songwriter performance series happening at a local club. From what I understand it’s sort of a competition, but don’t know how it’s judged, and not to be taken too seriously. Either way, it sounds like a blast, and just waiting on response from the person putting it on as to when I go on.
Also this weekend, if you’re reading this: Do me a favor and do something creative. If you play music, throw some riffs down on tape. Or jam with friends. If you’re not, go buy a plant and plant it in your garden. Maybe you’re an artist, or a photographer; anything, just be creative!
I think I’m going to take some random photographs. Just arbitrary. Don’t know what, I’ll let you know on Monday!
