Saturday:
Woke up early, and went with Eric Martinez(the director) to Downtown LA, where we shot scenes for the upcoming Say What You Will Video.
At about 12:30 pm, went back home and began work on what is to be release #10. Put down guitars, and bass, plus drum parts. Wrote a couple ideas for a bridge, but neither panned out. Just didn’t like ’em.
Then went to the grocery store, and bought ingredients for dinner: Beef Stroganoff. This was more of a long cook, so ate about 10:30 PM.
Sunday
Woke up, got outta bed, dragged a comb across my head.
Well, that’s not true, but that is a Beatles lyric. (Can you imagine me even ATTEMPTING to put a comb through my hair??? Please…chaos would ensue; eco-sytems would be out of balance.)
Ate breakfast and went in to continue working on Release #10.
And then it hit me: A cool bridge idea!!! It’s more of a solo section, but musically it’s real nice.
The song is still very much in ‘not finished’ writing mode, but it’s getting closer to ‘record this and mix.’
Breaking news:
Chance CD #2 (containing releases 6 through 10) to be released in next 6-8 weeks. It will contain a re-mix of one of the releases by none other than Sebastian Ciceri.
