Saturday’s alright for a lot of things:
Up at 6:30 AM. Out the door at 7:32 (and not a moment later) with Eric M aka Sharke13 for some location scouting and test shooting for the new video for Say What You Will. I think we found some pretty cool spots in Downtown LA. We also spent some time in Venice too, but it appears downtown just looks a little cooler…
But man, we walked ALL OVER THE PLACE. I wouldn’t doubt it if it came down to 7 or 8 miles of walking. And, of course, met some of the craziest people (most of them wanted change). This one guy was just walking down the street with something in his hand–held at about shoulder’s height–chanting “you’re a dick sucka! DICK SUCKAAAAH! Dick Sucka Dick SUCKAAAAAHHHH!!!!”
When faced with something like this, all you can do is smile.
Got home around 5 pm, and wanted to fall into a deeeep sleep. But couldn’t or didn’t or… something.
At around 9:45 PM g-friend and I headed to a bar called “The Well” for EnunciatedSneeze’s B-day. I tried to get her wasted by purchasing an extremely large glass of Maker’s Mark. She attempted, and then balked. But it was a fun time. Plus, The Well is very cool. Dark & low-lit (like I like it), and not really too pretentious for a Hollywood club.
Also saw DevilDoll (the promoter at The Gig) there. It’s her favorite place to hang after work, and it was great to see her.
