Stopped by an Indian spices market called Indian Sweets & Spices in Culver City. Small joint, very cool, in an unkempt “stuff piled on top of stuff†sort of way. People file in and out ordering from a lunch line menu. The place smells of cardamon, garlic, ginger and curry.
See, I have found this new obsession with making my own Vindaloo and Chicken Makhani from scratch. I think I have nailed the Vindaloo [with pork], but the Makhani, still hashing out the best recipes and various tactical decisions. More on this completely eccentric task later.
I have this new software for mastering called TrackS. Did a couple of test songs, and so far a few minutes of this sounded about the same as my end results from the way I was doing it before. So, my guess is it will only get better with time figuring it out.
