Practiced my set a few times yesterday. The kinks are starting to get ironed out.
Spent alot of time on the board the last few days. It’s getting busier.
And then…
My external hard drive crashed! Sent it back to the company I bought it from yesterday but I might have lost EVERY damn picture I’ve taken for the last 6 months.
I’m furious. Fortunately most of my music is still on my c drive and only being “mirrored” on the external. UGH.
I just found out one of my closest friends won’t be making the 1st show. Unforeseen scheduling snafu, but I’m still bummed. Whaddya gonna do…
But, I have friends from San Diego who look like they might make the drive. That’s amazing.
So, today, I practice the set, start to finish without stopping (dry run). And then I’m going to go buy a new shirt.
Because, sometimes, you just need a new shirt.
