Very excited about tonight’s show. Just getting everything ready for the drive over to the club. And OF COURSE I’m going to eat pizza first (before sound check).
It’s unbelievably hot in Los Angeles with today probably being the hottest day of the year. Of course, it’s hot all over the country, hell even all over the world. Uh, SURE there’s “no such thing” as Global Warming. Ahem. (rolls eyes)
But the obvious aside, tonight’s set is going to be fun for me because we’re playing a song live for the 1st time. AND, the boys in the choir are playing yet another song for the first time for them. The set’s got a real nice flow to it and packs both punch and dynamics, so I’m really excited about how it plays out.
And the end has a very special surprise. I hope it works out the way it does in my head.
Why am I being descriptive here? Well, because later tonight, you can log in to the Gig’s web site and view the entire concert as a webcast. For Free! They usually put it up the next day, but it’s VERY quickly afterward. Sometimes like around 2 AM in the morning.
So, wish us luck and cross your fingers and all that jazz. Chance & the Choir go on at 10:15 PM PDT tonight.
