Guilty as charged.
Saturday, I had planned on finalizing all the tracks for what will be the first single release in over a year.
Drums? Done.
Bass? Done.
Keys? Done.
Guitars? Hmm. A little tiny fix and addition… done.
Vocals?

Alas, not as tight as I’d like them to be. This song is funky. It has an octave up and down part following each other, and it’s pretty important they are bang on. So, I spent the rest of the afternoon, cleaning up and tightening up the vocals.
So, the good news is I think I’m pretty much down with the RECORDING of this song.
Next up, prepping the tracks for mix, and mixing!
