Much, so much going on behind the scenes. Perhaps it’s the reason why you’ve not heard from me in the past couple of weeks. Perhaps, as well,
Alas, dear readers, there is positive in my suffering.
First, the design for the very first Chance shirt will be revealed shortly. It was sent to the printers just this past Monday, and I should have them in about two weeks or so. Suffice to say, I shall sing the praises of this printer when the shirts arrive because they have been absolutely spectacular thusfar. So, any band reading this, I’ll let you all know once I get them just how amazing and why.
An IMPORTANT note about my shirts:
I’ve decided to have a philosophy about the shirts and all merchandise that has my name on it. Basically, it’s this:
I don’t want there just to be a cool Chance shirt (or piece of merchandise). I simply want it to be a cool shirt. Something you’d find comfortable, that’s stylish and just feels good to wear.
So, after searching for the right style, the right colors (and the right printer) I have made the decision to go with American Apparel shirts as the shirt brand. American Apparel shirts cost more than the average Hanes Beefy T, but my attitude is what’s the point in getting a cheaper shirt if it doesn’t feel good to wear? If it doesn’t fit you right? It’s my belief that you’ll take quality and comfort over cheap and short lived.
So, the new Chance shirts will be absolutely the softest shirts in the world. They are just amazing. I really think you’ll like the fit too (they’re not stupid baggy.) They are just (for lack of a better word) stylish. The design will have separate guys T’s and girls t’s, and both styles will come in small, medium, large and extra-large. I’m really excited about these shirts, and hope that every Friend of Chance out there will get one.
Second, the very first button will be available at the same time as the shirt. I really think you’ll get a kick out of the button design. They are 1 1/4″ and I’ll leave it at that!
I’ve been also working on the cover design for CD3, which is ‘close’ to completed but not quite yet. Also of note: the packaging will be different than the previous two CD’s.
All day tomorrow (Saturday 4/29) will be time spent on mastering the new CD.
The boys in the Choir
Working on shows around our San Francisco date so that we hopefully have a potential run of 4 dates in a week. Our goal is to have a show on June 8th, San Francisco on the 9th (confirmed), June 10th, and then complete the run with our very 1st All Ages show at the world famous Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood on Tuesday, June 13th (confirmed).
I didn’t lie did I? I’ve been busy, yes? Can’t lie to the friends of Chance, because well…you’re my friends! Heck, even when I lie… I tell the truth! =)
(By the way, have you picked up Independent yet?)
So, I very much hope all is well in your respective worlds, and that if you’re down, you’re on your way up.
Have a good weekend,
