The new CD came out on Tuesday, which was nice. I had been preparing for it for a few months, and was pleased with both the way it came out sonically and visually, but also grateful for the response I’ve been getting. At this early point in the mynameischance thing, these CD-EP’s are mile markers and they give me a sense of both accomplishment and a place to pause and assess which brick to grab next so I build this house I’m building the best way I can.
I’m doing a board hang on Saturday, so I hope all can make it. Speaking of the board members, they have been waiting VERY patiently for the latest FOC cover song. I apologize for the delay as much of my time was spent working on the CD and the last Choir show. I have tentatively scheduled the 2nd weekend of May to begin recording this song, which will be the Milkshake Song. I think I finally have my head wrapped around how I want to do it. I must admit though, it will be quite the challenge to get that goddamned chorus to sound appealing.
For those of you who have yet to pick up the new CD. I sure hope you do; I really depend on your support and am grateful to all who do. The 11th single will hopefully come out end of May or Beginning of June. Look forward to that.
Also: what’d ya think of the MyNameisChance Comix???? It’s a lot of fun, and I really think you’re going to enjoy how it evolves. Zero is a talented artist, and I’m really looking forward to the things we’ll do. The next one is slated for April 19th but then, after that, it will go bi-weekly (every other week). So expect the 3rd comix strip to be released May 4th.
