Today’s update (1-24-05):
Audio Release number 9– aka Forgive+Forget– to be released today!
For 4 hours on sunday evening, Chance & the Choir practiced
a 2nd time for the big show.
It was very loud and got tighter at each pass. A delicious turkey sandwich was fuel for the soul at the midway point.
After consuming, we performed the set for the first time. Little things to iron out here and there, but mostly along the lines of ”oh yea, forgot to play that little line there” or ”what was my harmony again?” Overall though, the sound is really starting to take shape. Tempos are solid, everyone is really starting to feel comfortable with the song arrangements and structures.
Won’t Be a Next Time rocked. I was initially apprehensive about that song in a live setting, but mark me down as 180 degrees corrected. The boys really slam on that one.
Last thing left to do:
Final show run through on Wednesday evening.
All Friends of Chance in California will get one last flyer to find out who the 4th member of the Choir is…stay tuned…
