yesterday: low key but real nice like…

So, June 30th, the pinnacle of human evolution, spent on the quiet side. Last few years, I had a party. But this year, I’ve been so busy and with funds and all being a might bit on the low side, it was enjoyable to just ease back. Not that I don’t miss throwing the party, those are always a lot of fun. One of the best feelings in the world is to be in the company of your closest friends and see them laughing, having a good time and in high spirits.

But that being said: Got a damn, IPOD, yessirreee. G-friend surprised me, she sure did. But I can’t really play with it much til the weekend because I am in the studio (more on that later).

Mom’s in Honduras, so she won’t be calling til maybe later this week. Lil’ sis called and she is doing fantastic. Amazes me man, her tone of voice, so much has changed.
Dad forgot, but he’s getting on in years; oh well.

Bri-dog called, Sebi called, Ty Lee called. Lil sis called. My old neighbor Isaak (who turned 80 last monday and is a Holocaust Survivor) called (love him); got a butt load of IM’s, Message Board Posts, and wonderful e-mails. Thank you all. It is really appreciated.

They say that a birthday is the one time a year when people can express their gratitude in you, for you. I always look at it as yet another time to thank the stars for the people in my life. Nothin’ wrong with that, yea? I’m just humbled by it all.

Can’t say much more because I am slammed these next 48 hours. I will have some breathing room on Sat, will update you on some pretty cool things.

Til then,
