On Sunday, went to Guitar Center and purchased a Fishman acoustic guitar pickup. (Installed it easy and will play my show tonight with Acoustic and Piano.)
As well, I watched the Lakers piss away a 4th quarter lead to go down 3-1. They say there is no “I” in team. I also hear there is no “Kobe, throw up a stupid shot every time you touch the ball instead of passing” in team either.
Upon the conclusion of this finals game, I went to the M Bar and watched my friends in Ragsy play. Ragsy is half Safety, 1/4 Soulcracker and 1/4 cool chick named Kelly.
Fun show, and way cool little club. Who’da thunk it, it being in this tiny strip mall in hollywood, but cool interior. Re: Ragsy, I really liked a new song they have called Pull Your Body Through. Check em out at RAGSY.NET.
So, about my late word show. It’s at this club called Genghis Cohen, which by all acounts, is a great listening room. Will probably play about 8-9 songs.
Will finalize my set later this afternoon, but I have a surprise to start the show. I don’t know how many people will show up because it was literally offered to me on Friday, and didn’t get my e-flyer out til Saturday. But I’m looking forward to it.
