Looks like I will be playing a show in the very near future. My friend Brittany Shane has a sort of once a month residency at a small restaurant/bar called Taix in Silverlake. Spoke to the owner, and he said to just arrange with Brittany how to open up before her set.
Just going to be me, a guitar & a piano. So, I’ll let you when it happens, as soon as it happens.
Trying to get into another singer/songwriter club here in LA called Hotel Cafe, but they aren’t taking unsolicited submissions right now. So, time for me to start barking up some trees to see whether I know someone who knows someone who’s married to someone who has a dog like mine.
The way I want to start live is to begin by playing solo stripped down shows. Not only to start off on the solo foot for the listener, but also for myself. I’ve been in a band for such a long time, I should feel what it’s like to completely be identified otherwise. I’ve only done that once: in Orlando last December.
Also, in different converations, spoke to H/Bee about the music and also to JamieC from Chrsyalis Pub.
H/Bee wants to give it another 3-4 listens but liked what she’s heard so far. Jamie also likes what he’s heard and we’ll probably talk a bit on Monday. Also, we plan on getting together in a week and a half or so to do some jamming (he plays bass).
So, all in all, a positive day.

Worked on the site today, and something is messed up with the downloading software. I have the company that I got it from looking into it but I hope to have it running very soon.
