Did a lot of work on the web site last night. Installed some audio (Mp3) downloading software for my single releases (Audio section not ready yet, so you can’t really see what I’ve done). It sure is easier to manipulate than this Live Journal.
Now, all I have to do is set up my art section, my e-mail sign up section, and the xtras section. I think I’ll do some more tests of the downloading too.
I also have to set up the actual 1st song’s release page. It’s going to be pretty cool. You’re not just getting the song, there will be some “extra features.” Hope it turns out the way I see it in my head.
Another reason why I can’t wait to finish tidying up this web site, is I have some new songs I want to work on. I’ve never been very good at dropping one thing and doing something else for a while, unless the obsession is overwhelming (like the need to hit a song that is begging me to be worked on). I tend to be single task oriented. In other words, I’m a male.
Be that as it may, some good can come out of my inability to walk and chew gum at the same time. I can get a laser like almost obsessed focus on something once I’m ready to undertake. So, as long as I don’t FREAK anyone out, that focus can get me stuff done efficiently….I guess anyway…
Got some nice e-mails and comments earlier yesterday from some hardcore Portable fans on how this site is coming along. Still haven’t announced to the entire fanbase, but I think I will make an announcement on our message board sometime today about it. Gotta get the florida peeps on board soon, you know?
