Steven Wilson led progressive rock band Porcupine Tree... I first saw them perform at the Arrow Rock Festival (click for my review on this board), and the more I hear of them, the greater I think they are.
They've been around since 1991 and have mainly been popular in the United Kingdom, but the first album I heard was after the festival; Stupid Dream, of which they performed most songs at the festival. This is a terrific album and I was even so blown away by its follow-up In Absentia.
Deadwing had at the time of the festival already been released but they want to give a show as smooth as possible so that they didn't play songs off that album. On April 24th (used to be April 16th...) Fear of a Blank Planet is to be released. |

As you can read I can totally recommend this band to you, and therefore I advise you to go check them out.
