i'm still trying to get the podcast from the Tongue and Groove show (SF)... i hope i can. the L.A. show is one that i don't wanna miss.  |

I have to admit something about the show last night.... the sound engineer didn't let The Choir shine like they should have!!!
Other than that, I had a fantastic time dancing to live Chance music again. You've really come a long way since the last time I saw you perform. ^^ |

Ok... I've listened/watched the webcast a couple times now... and it's decided... sounds mucho better with this recording. Too bad the sound guy Saturday wasn't on top of things. :(

Where were you sitting Saturday night? I haven't gotten too many bad reviews on sound, but truth be told the guy was running both sound and lights, so he had his hands full. What was bad from where you were? (not that it matters just curious).

I was, from your perspective, mid-right of the crowd. I was actually close to the guy who played the "clapper" role. (I was voting for his participation as well!)
It was primarily noticeable with the guitar solos. In the webcast, you can hear them clear ... but at the venue, I felt they were drowned out too much.
I can imagine how tough it would be to control both sound and lighting! Wow... I bet they were tired afterwards. I'm not saying it was a horrible experience... just not KILLER like it could have been. Know what I mean? ^^; |
