Apart from Sheeca, I didn't read of ANYBODY who is saying "Oh I can't wait to see Chance and The Choir!"... strange how you just can go nuts over something you can't have... I know the feeling right now. Right in there with y'all.

EDIT: Sheeca AND FLOR!!!

WOW

the show was rad. wish you all could have been there.
the other bands were good too, but the majority of the crowd was obviously there for chance & the choir. the floor was packed during their set, but only sporadically (did i spell that right?) for the lead in & follow up bands...

chance, you guys really compliment each other. i don't know what else to say. it was REALLY tight. you should play more often!!!

sheeca & flor - i wish we could have hung out more. i had friends outside, at the back by the sound booth, & somewhere in the middle of the crowd so it was hard to keep up with everyone. but it was really good to see you both & we'll get together soon!

talmadge, it was great to meet you. i'm glad you were able to make it out. did you get much film? you should do a doc on chance...

do we really have to wait until may to do it again?

That sounds so cool. Yea, if Chance says it sounds tight, it IS tight baby! (even more so, if Chance says "...", it IS "...", whereas "..." can be replaced by "so" or any other word to your liking).

Talmage should wait and bring out the COMPLETE CHANCE box.

But MissGuydid, you didn't go there and meanwhile chat with your friends all the time right? I so hate it when people go to a show and then TALK. Geez, go elsewhere Razz

eddy - you are so wrong.
i stepped outside during the set once for some friends who had driven up to see me but could not stay. we kept it short & agreed to have breakfast the next morning so that i could get back inside.
i didn't bust my ass to get there right on time just so i could have a social night with friends. i went to support & listen to the band. and that's what i did.
thanks for checking tho...

*phew* Smile
...though I wouldn't even have gone outside, but just left a note on the door saying: "Meet me at Bernie's Breakfast tomorrow at 8!" Very social of you to go outside though; had I known somebody who didn't, I would have suggested to do the same.

So how about some PICTURES eh? I'm shakin' for 'em!

Something I'm real curious about is; what was special about this show? What did you notice that was different from the studio recording, or who played a party in a song you would not have expected he would have, what gear was used? Did Chance play acoustic guitar or did he largely stick to the piano or did he focus entirely on singing?

Fill me in people!

I was zoned out. Left my wife and my buddy at the bar and made my way up front.

Judging by the pics and the comments, it seems like the Gig was a pretty cool place to be the other night! Chance, you need to come out to Maine and show people here that bands can be led!! There is waaaaaaay too much slackin going on!

I'm searching for someone who was at the show and has or is willing to write a review of the show for internet publication. Can anyone do that?
